One is manual and other is through machine parts.

Specifications:


  • Engine: Brand new twin cylinder 10 HP 1500 RPM 4 Stroke vertical water cooled Diesel engine.
  • Loading Device
  • Mechanical Load: 400 mm diameter cast iron brake drum, with screw rod, Spring Balance etc.
  • Electrical Load: 7.5 KW. 3 phase Kirloskar AC Generator with resistance loading, Ammeter/ Voltmeter for load measurement.
  • Hydraulic Dynamometer Load: Hydraulic dynamometer with Rotor and stator dead weight, calibrated balance etc. Coupled to the engine through flexible coupling
  • Panel: Laminated panel on a sturdy MS stand with all measuring instruments mounted neatly.
  • Loading Device: 400 mm diameter cast iron brake drum, with screw rod, Spring Balance etc
  • Exhaust gas calorimeter: It consists of a shell and pipe type vertical condenser with water inlet and outlet connections and control valve.
  • Air Intake Measurement: It consists of an air tank of size 0.5x 0.x 0.x5 0.x5M fitted with baffle orifice plate. A U tube manometer to measure differential pressure
  • Fuel intake Measurement: Using fuel tank, 3 way cock and burette
  • Temperature measurement: Using thermocouple sensor with a multipoint digital temperature indicator for jacket water and exhaust calorimeter temperatures.
